If you haven’t heard of Trash The Dress photo shoots yet, you must pay attention.  The idea that after your wedding, be it that afternoon, the next day or the next month, you put on your wedding dress again and you get to play ‘model’ for a day in being as creative with your wedding dress as you like.

Rumour has it that Trash The Dress is all about setting your self alight while wearing your dress {really?!} or being drastically splattered by paint but the reality is Trash The Dress is purely for you to get to wear your dress, again!

I am a huge fan of this idea!

A Trash The Dress photo shoot can be as adventurous as you want it to be but if the thought scares you, then you have to do it even more!  🙂  You don’t have to make the dress unrecognisable, in fact, you can be subtle enough to ensure that one dry clean later and it’s back to show room condition.  Trashing your dress is all about you and the dress and that’s it.

Thanks the incredible talents of Jan Plachy Trash The Dress is becoming Fine Art!

Trash The Dress just got posh!

There are many adjectives for this shoot but there is one that I keep saying over and over: stunning!  These photos are beautiful, elegant, artistic and unique and the Bride looks absolutely beautiful in all of them!

I want more of you girls out there Trashing Your Dress.  Make it personal!  You could even Trash The Suit with it.  It’s all about you being able to take that stunning dress out of the wardrobe for a second time, and not enough wedding dresses get the chance to do that. 🙂

Enjoy it.  And send me some pics afterwards as I am eager-beaver to post a lot more Trash The Dress shoots.

Thank you to the amazing Jan Plachy for the photos.  I am a huge fan and it is a pleasure to show you his fine art photography!
