I may have mentioned before, I love hats, they are my addiction, I can’t get enough of them. So, when I find a designer that I love nearly as much as Philip Tracey, that is big, really really big!

Jane Taylor Millinery  is my new crush, her designs are just exquisite.  She designs headwear pieces, ranging from hats to art deco crystal bands, she offers a ready to wear collection and bespoke bridal pieces. My favourite is the Lace Disc pictured above, it would certainly make sure all eyes were on you when you walk down the aisle.

Her classic designs are embellished with vintage  feathers, veiling, lace, gems and antique adornments which are continuously  sourced throughout Britain by Jane. Each hand crafted piece is unique. Jane works closely with clients throughout the design  process resulting in a tailor made piece to perfectly suit the clients’ specifications, while maintaining their  personality and sense of style. Many of her clients had never worn hats prior  to wearing Jane’s pieces and are now regular visitors to her studio.

Since starting Alice in Weddingland, I find myself wishing I could have another wedding day (with my husband of course!) or even just having free reign to design and style someone else’s wedding because I keep coming across gorgwah designs. My wedding was quite traditional and classic, which is very me, but having spent so much time researching and finding unique wedding ideas, I would definitely be bolder in my choices. I would have to wear a head piece that was a show stopper!!

How about the metallic rose hat (below – top right) for the mother of the bride, now that is stunning!
