In August my sis and I went to a hen do. It started in a rather swanky hotel in Soho, London where we were greeted with a lovely glass of bubbly and then stepped into a room that had a large table in the middle covered with gorgeous feathers, netting, buttons, beads, fabrics and so much more, it was all pieces to make our own fascinator, what a brilliant idea. As I may have mentioned before, I lurvvv hats, so this was sooo up my street.
There were two ladies to help and guide us, one being Katherine Elizabeth herself (see biog below). They showed us the different styles of fascinators and how to make the basic shape and then you add as little or as much detail as you like. The girls all made amazing creations some of which were so fab they wore it to the wedding.
Hen dos are tricky, you either go for the traditional style with “L” plates and condoms stuck to it, plus dares and lots of shots etc. and I’ve been on my fair share of those, or these days, I think a lot more thought goes into what the Hen would want, not what all her friends would like her to do! So, Mad Hatters was a really fun way of getting all the girls to mingle with each other, as well as being creative, of course having a real giggle and also coming away with a fabulous fascinator. I loved mine!
So, if you are looking for something a little different for a hen do, I would highly recommend Mad Hatters. You can add loads of extras on top and also have a Benefit make-up artist join the party to make everyone look super gorg for your night out on the tiles.
