It’s my baby’s 4th birthday today!  Can you believe it? I can’t believe she’s already 4 and I can not tell you in words how much I am looking forward to sharing her big day as our little family.  I have been thinking and planning it for weeks 🙂 I have searched shop after shop for a caterpillar cake (I finally got it today phew!), I’ve wrapped far too many presents and I’ve blown up too many balloons.  {The things you do for love :)}  And being her birthday and all our family tradition is to always go for a day out, and where do kids want to go when they’re 4?  To the Zoo to see a tiger of course 🙂  So while we’re enjoying the primates and the big cats, I hope you enjoy today’s engagement shoot.

Last week I spent lots and lots of time and lots and lots of teabags web crawling for unique wedding ideas and I’m so glad I did.  I found some amazing photo shoots, some superb unique wedding ideas {one you just won’t believe} and some beautiful real weddings but today I thought I’d start with this gorgeous, insanely romantic engagement shoot shot by wedding photographer Mark Eric.

This fun engagement shoot is a Baton Rouge affair and includes a seriously gorgeous pair of cowgirl boots and all.  {I am obsessed with cowgirl boots.  My divine black pair all the way from Calgary have pride of place in my wardrobe!:)} The shoot includes a bling ring, two cute doggies, an old chapel and a stunning old bell.  And this couple show us just how easy it is to make an engagement shoot, romantic, creative and still a lot of fun.

So without further adieu may I introduce you to Ashley and Brian: a sweet-as-pie engagement shoot complete with 4 changes of clothes, a stunning Bride2B with her ‘to die for legs’ and her smitten Fiancé.  These guys pose like the pros 🙂

Take it away guys…

Engagement photo shoot

I love engagement shoots: they add a fantastic part to our history! I think the more photograph albums you have the better.  You can never have too many memories!!!
