Ithought it was about time the grooms had some help with outfit ideas, so I have put together various styles of wedding attire for all the gents out there that are looking for something a little bit beyond tradition.

.

Obviously the brides dress is the main focal point at a wedding, but the groom doesn’t have to blend into the crowd or be dressed in the classic wedding outfit ie. top hat and tails. I think now a days the groom is definitely becoming more style conscious and with that in mind, I think these pictures will give you a few ideas about what you could wear and the style you can create.

Using footwear to tie the grooms party together is becoming more and more popular as you can see from the pics. I think it’s a great way to add a fun element into the outfit, from smart dress shoes to converse. My fav are the converse, they look great with a suit. I am also loving the picture above, the ushers in the darker grey and the groom in the light grey/blue suit works really well, incorporating the yellow ties and button holes just adds that summer feeling and brightens up the outfit.

If you are having a vintage or garden wedding the above two could be what you are looking for, a little more casual with more colour.

Personally, I love this one above, it is just so dashing, so smart and so crisp, I would love to see my husband in this suit, he would look yum!

The three photos above all showcase the more smart – casual – relaxed menswear look, I love the idea of the ushers wearing the same suit but different ties, shirts and shoes, a bit more retro and individual.

Any thing goes these days, so be bold and brave with you choices, it definitely adds something quirky to the overall style of the wedding and that something special that people will remember.
