‘I was late to the wedding because’ is a brilliant fine art wedding series created by the effervescent Australian photographer Angie Peady. It’s a brilliant portrait of wedding themes and ideas to help inspire Brides and her latest is the stunning Green With Envy shoot.

original feature of Angie’s, ‘I was late to the wedding because the compass broke’, was a smash hit over a year ago. It was ‘the’ Steampunk inspired photo shoot which began my love affair not only with Steampunk itself but also with Sydney based wedding photographer Angie, and with the incredibly unique corsetry designed and made by Australian company Gallery Serpentine; my corset couture obsession.

Here again, Angie showcases beautiful photography, unique styling and a stunning unique wedding dress. Green is bang on trend at the moment and as you can see, teamed with creams like elegant pearls, cream roses and if you want to add a splash of bold colour; this makes it beautifully vibrant and unique.

The story for this shoot is one of a bride. A contemporary women on route to her big day. As she travels down a street filled with shops her eye catches a bag in a store window which she is besotted with. She must have this item de jour! Green with envy she is stopped in her tracks until the item can be her own.
