Vintage weddings have been incredibly popular over the last few years but the trend is changing. Instead of vintage packed weddings we’re seeing details of vintage inspired ideas within contemporary weddings and todays’s real wedding showcases this.

Oh the dress! OH the dress!!! I love seeing weddings that fuse together thoughts and ideas that clearly shout out a couples style or interests rather than an OTT shebang. Discovering the little details are what makes attending these sorts of weddings so much fun and so intimate.

Shot by the fabulous Andrew Hackett photography, I love his documentary style to the photographs coupled with the mix of traditionally posed shots.

From Andrew:

I always meet couples before their wedding, to go through all their plans, I knew Jan and Emma were going to be relaxed, laid back and a friendly couple. Both families were with them the day before their wedding and stayed overnight with the bride and groom at the private estate Park Hall Worcestershire. Jan and Emma hired the exclusive country estate for three days.

Emma chose a stunning dress for her wedding day, wow… Jan and Emma’s wedding ceremony took place at St. Marys Church, literally ‘up the road’ at Harvington Hall. The Autumn weather was perfect, the bride and groom looked fantastic and the venue ideal. One of my favourite shoots of 2012, it was a wonderful day and a pleasure to photograph.

Don’t you love the dress?!

It’s Monday morning madness over at Alice HQ this morning and although fingers have been tapping away since 7am, I’m no off to shop for my LBD for this Wednesday’s launch party at Harrods. Oh the dramas of choosing an outfit! Girls, I know you understand!!!

Have a super Monday!

I’ve never followed trends as I disliked being just one of the crowd so my love for things that are different, unusual, beautiful and stylistic that I’d had all my life transformed into Alice in Weddingland.
