So you’ve got your dress and now it’s time to choose your unique wedding accessories: your wedding headwear, your bracelet, your earrings and other accessories to compliment you on your weddding day.  Where do you start?  I had this dilemma recently when I was looking for my bracelet for our vow renewal. Well, I didn’t find it easy. As a lover of bling and all things sparkly my choice was so overwhelming when looking for something unique as there are is array of incredibly talented people out there creating stunning pieces to adorn you on your big day. I love Art Deco!!! LOVE art deco and knew I wanted bling and sparkle, but that was it, and I couldn’t find what I was looking for – not that I had a clear picture in my mind but after trawling through Etsy, Google searches and more I finally stumbled upon Bridal accessory specialist Aye Do. And I fell in love on the first page {you’ll get to see what with in a few weeks time, *giggles*}.

Aye Do {looooove the name} is the inspiration of Joan whose history working for fashion houses like Ralph Lauren, Burberry and NEXT has given her an amazing eye for beautiful, unique, bridal accessories and she has the same ethos as me: style and design shouldn’t have to have a high price tag and so Aye Do have created an online store where every Bride has access to quality and designs that are handmade beautifully and don’t carry an extortionate price tag!

From hot pink heart shaped wedding umbrellas {I adore}, to stunning tiaras and wedding jewellery designed and made here in the United Kingdom, Aye Do create impact with their beautiful, unique wedding accessories and I’m their new fan!!!

A little from Joan

So who am I & what is Aye Do?

My background is in textile design. Having attained a BA Hons in Textile Design at the world renown Scottish College of Textiles (now known as Heriot Watt University) I spent 10 years designing for fashion houses such as DKNY, NEXT, Espirit, Ralph Lauren & Burberry. I met some wonderful people & enjoyed textile design but I have to admit it was not my first love! I had always enjoyed designing & making jewellery & in 2003 took the big step of turning my hobby into a business & so Aye Do was born.

So why is Aye Do different? well firstly we believe in offering good old fashioned customer service using the wonderful world of the Internet. Aye Do is a team of people & UK based Suppliers who all believe that we can offer every bride the experience of buying designer products without having to face the designer price tag. Aye Do is your ‘one stop wedding shop – we have over 3000 products on our site with over 40% being handmade to order in the UK. To add that we offer a wide range of accessories from jewellery to garters, ring cushions to guest books which can be personalised adding that little extra magic sparkle to your very special day.

I already know that I have the best job in the world & I am so excited to be able to share some of our ideas & experience with you to help you make your dream wedding day become a reality.

And I can personally vouch for their superb quality as I have a little secret that will be revealed when you see our vow renewal photo shoot at the end of this month {giggling with glee}.

I adore Joan, she is a fabulous lady who knows high-end design and quality and is a great inspiration. Her passion has created a one-stop wedding shop loaded with the kinds of wedding treasures that will put the ‘You’ in ‘You-nique’ for your wedding: a treasure trove of unique wedding accessories, headwear and jewellery. What I love about Aye Do’s online store is that I can go and browse designer accessories all in the one place. This gives me the opportunity to see different styles and different ideas and if you’re anything like me, you won’t be able to go past something in Aye Do’s treasure chest! {I can’t wait to show you mine}!!!

So please visit Joan online or chit chat over on Aye Do’s Facebook page, she’s a gorgeous Scottish woman with a wicked sense of humour who has the expertise to help you find something that will compliment ‘You’ and your dress on your wedding day. Ooh and she tweets too!
