before breakfast” and one of mine 6 things was renewing our vows on our 10th wedding anniversary in a real, I mean really real dreamy, wedding dress. Not an off the rack navy blue formal dress. And it’s come true!

Through the disappointment and panic of my first designer having to pull out due to unforseen circumstances, to tracking the designer of my dream dress across to the other side of the world, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Yesterday, I opened a box, held my breath and closed my eyes.

Then as I opened the layers of tulle and ran my fingers over the top of the nude peach sateen, I cried, like every Bride does when she tries on her wedding dress for the first time. And then once in it, I showed Rob. Every nerve in my body was elevated higher than Mt Everest nervously waiting with ten years of anticipation, for his reaction. Desperate for a “you look gorgeous babe” or “wow” anything that told me it was all worth the 10 year wait… he stared at me. Our baby girl was prancing around me yelling out “Mummy, you’re a Princess” and then it happened.  Rob looked at me and said with emotion “you look stunning honey, absolutely beautiful” and it was then that I knew all the pain, and all the time was worth it.

And so what does it look like?

Well, I don’t want to give it all away as our ceremony is next Wednesday but I’m too excited not to show you something so until I post the photos from the full shoot, here’s a McSneaky:

6 sleeps and counting…

So what do you think? Do you love the colour? Tell me, tell me, tell meeeee 🙂
