I love Christmas and every year my tree goes up on the 1st December (are you as Christmas mad as me?) So I thought what a wonderful way to start the countdown to Christmas by doing a Christmas Wedding Inspiration Board, with a difference. I am already counting down the days until Pickles, my three year old, me and Daddy put up the tree, and this year it’s going to be pure magic. Pickle’s is at that age now where Santa makes sense, presents at the end of the bed are “so exciting” and we are already singing ‘Santa Clause Is Coming To Town’ together – I love it and am so Kirsty Allsopp about it all!!!
For this Christmas wedding inspiration board I wanted to do something different. I wasn’t sure what, just that it couldn’t be red and green and over the top with baubles. Then I found a stunning image of a Bride (and Groom) in a little White Red Riding Hood coat and just awwwwed at it so much that the rest as they say, is history.
When you think of Christmas these days its not necessarily red and green; I love that just like with Weddings people are personalising Christmas to suit their ideas and their tastes. And, while I love red and green Christmas Weddings, I think if I was to get married again I would sooooo love to do it in a snowy country and have a white wedding with lights galore.

Do let me know what you think? Would you do a black and ivory wedding at Christmas or follow tradition?

I discovered the word 'fashion' 5 years ago while pregnant with my baby girl and quickly became determined that I would be a great influence to her. I don't want her to live the same 'Tom Boy' label that I'd been given all my life.
There is nothing better in life than being your own person: live it, love it, do it!
Warning: there is no candy-floss, ivory twinkies on this blog, instead you'll find a treasure trove of frabjous, unique wedding ideas.
