Once upon a time in a little village in Hampshire, England a wedding blog was born.  8 months later, that unique wedding blog grew up!

We’re raising our glass to Chapter Two!

A week ago, Rob and I decided that this little wedding blog just wasn’t ‘Me‘ enough and required a much needed face-lift – it needed to create more of an impact.  And so we set about recreating it with the intentions that it had grown into, and the ideas that had been showcased and of course with the love and passion not only from us but from you, the reader – we all deserved a smoother, more palatable ride, a ride that would leave you wanting more!  And here she is!…

Welcome to the new-look Alice In Weddingland unique wedding blog, where…

And here’s how it used to look and of course the now, sparkly new one 🙂

The new auto-scroll Gallery

For me, one of the most important aspects of the new wedding blog design was to create a gallery header that had more impact.  I wanted to be able to showcase more of what is inside the belly of the blog: I want my old posts to be found without the user having to trawl through a ton of categories every time. So it had to be big, it had to be bold and it had to be flexible.

It was also very important to me that my old posts, those wedding ideas that I’d already shown-off, didn’t get lost. It’s the industry creatives: the vendors and the photographers of the wedding industry that are the beating heart of my unique wedding blog and it’s their work I want to continue to bring to my readers. Now the old posts don’t get lost in an attic called ‘archives‘, instead they’re kept alive by the gallery and I get to show off more of the amazing ideas inside my blog.

And it has a whizz-bang auto-scrolly thingy which means you can sit back with your cuppa tea and watch the slideshow 🙂 And every single photo in the gallery is touchy-feely – you can click it to your hearts content.

Lots more changing over the next few weeks but I’m ‘tounge hang in out of my mouth’ desperate to get back to writing and I’ve got a beauty for you tomorrow.

Please, PLEASE (I won’t beg as I look tragic when I do that) PLEASE leave me your comments and tell me what you think of the new design.

Love Always, Zarn (Mwah!)

P.S.  There’s lots of things you can click in the new site, like an Alice In Wonderland adventure full of secrets.  Enjoy the discovery – Happy clicking!
