I apologise to all my Brides today as this post is all about an Apple!

My MacBook: the heart and soul of my fingertips, the working horse of Alice In Weddingland, has crashed under the weight of my blog.  Can you believe it?  And I can not edit any photos to bring you a shiny new post, so I am therefore forced to fill your day with words only.  Although, I can’t resist, so lucky for me WordPress stores all my previous photos 🙂

I’ve had a tug of war going on since December with my poor silver box chugging away doing it’s MacBooky thing, smoke billowing every now and then as I edit photographs, Safari struggling to cope with my often ten or more windows open and Mail, thinking…thinking…thinking and not showing my emails.

I’ve gritted teeth at it, cursed many a sour word at it and threatened to throw it out the window a little too often.  It’s not it’s fault that it’s memory is that of new Mum: the vacant sign often comes on as it concentrates on everyone else other than itself 🙂

My MacBook has always been the beating pulse of my work, only now, after three months of being over worked and underpaid, it needs to be delegated to part-time work only.  Sadly, it has stopped performing and the judges decision is final.

Though what does this mean?  Well, it means {I hear the Cheshire Cat coming}, it means, {here it comes}, it MEANS {Cheshire Cat Grin!!!} that I am forced (my hands tightly tied behind my back of course) to invest in a new iMac.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

It’s an exciting day today. And I can not stop grinning!

Up until three years ago I had never used an Apple but now I am a ridiculously obsessed Apple fan.  I love their machines, they just work {well, until you overload their memory of course :)} and they look spunky!   Finally, I won’t be squinting at a tiny 15″ screen anymore when editing photographs, searching the internet and creating my blog posts.  And I am a happy chicken!!!

You would be right in thinking I’m a tad geeky!  Considering I represented my Primary School at a computer game competition when I was 11, I’d have to have an inner-geek-goddess somewhere.  I do love tech and yes, I do watch the occasional Gadget Show: I wouldn’t have my super-duper electronic toothbrush without it.

So today, I dedicate this post to the bloggers paradise that I call Apple: the ability to work fluently, intrusively and smoothly once again. Atleast when I open my twitter account it won’t grind everything to a halt 🙂

Happy Wednesday everyone.

P.S.  I’ll be back with a bang tomorrow as I bring you the McSneaky from last weeks Facebook – wedding photos that are jawdroppingly gorgeous!

I promised you photos:

One of my favourite photos ever.  I love the idea of an alternative altar.

My favourite ‘moment’ photograph by Kevin Mullins

My favourite contemporary wedding photo by Gordon McGowan

Actually, I have two favourtie ‘moment’ photographs.  This is a stunner by A Brit & A Blonde

My favourite Trash The Dress photo by Siegrid Cain

I’ve never followed trends as I disliked being just one of the crowd so my love for things that are different, unusual, beautiful and stylistic that I’d had all my life transformed into Alice in Weddingland.
